The CBI’s investigation concluded that Rajput’s death was a suicide, finding no evidence implicating Chakraborty or others in abetment.
Dia Mirza expressed her sentiments on Instagram Stories, stating, “Who in the media will have the grace to put out a written apology to Rhea Chakraborty and her family? You went on a witch hunt. You caused deep anguish and harassment just for TRPs. Apologise. That’s the very least you can do.”
The CBI’s closure reports addressed two cases: one filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father accusing Chakraborty of abetment to suicide and financial misappropriation, and another by Chakraborty alleging misconduct by Rajput’s family.
