Kapil Sharma’s Show Team Mourns the Death of Photographer Krishna Das: “He Was Family”

The entertainment industry woke up to a somber morning as news broke of the passing of renowned celebrity photographer Krishna Das, a longtime member of The Kapil Sharma Show’s team. Das, who was known for his warmth and ever-present smile behind the camera, passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest, according to close sources.

Krishna Das had been associated with Kapil Sharma and his team for several years and was more than just a photographer. He was often spotted capturing candid moments during rehearsals, shoots, and off-set camaraderie, becoming an integral part of the show’s extended family.

Taking to social media, Kapil Sharma shared a heartfelt note along with a throwback photo of Krishna Das. “Can’t believe you left us so soon, Krishna bhai. You were more than a photographer – you were family. Always smiling, always working with dedication. You will be deeply missed,” he wrote, ending with folded hands and heart emojis.

Other members of the show’s team, including Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Sumona Chakravarti, also paid tribute. Krushna wrote, “He was the first one we saw when we came on set, always ready with his camera and his infectious laugh. Rest in peace, brother.”

Sumona added on her Instagram story, “Some people leave behind a void that can never be filled. Krishna Das was one of them. He captured our best memories… now he’s a memory himself.”

The show’s production crew also released a joint statement expressing their grief:
“We are heartbroken by the sudden demise of Krishna Das. He was not just a team member, but a beloved friend and constant presence on our sets. His passion for photography and love for the team will forever remain in our hearts.”

Krishna Das was known in industry circles for his professionalism and close-knit relationships with many celebrities. He often worked not only on The Kapil Sharma Show but also at major TV and film events.

Fans, too, shared their condolences online, with many calling him the “silent star” of the show for his ability to bring the show’s vibrancy to life through his photographs.

As the team reels from the loss, it’s clear that Krishna Das’s legacy will live on — not just in the countless images he clicked, but in the memories and hearts of those who knew him.

May his soul rest in peace.
